The Supertarp® is a large and versatile tarp. Thanks to its 19 reinforced attachment points, it offers immense freedom in building stable configurations tailored to the terrain and weather. You can set up the tarp in many ways: as a classic A-frame, a canopy over a hammock, a safe workstation cover, or an improvised emergency shelter. Its large 298 cm x 300 cm size allows you to cover one person with full equipment or create a spacious communal canopy for several people.

Protection in variable conditions

The tarp is made of lightweight, coated polyester fabric. The Helikon Supertarp® is fully waterproof, ensuring the outer layer effectively protects against soaking during heavy downpours. At the same time, the coating provides protection from intense sunlight, blocks UV radiation, and limits heat buildup, creating a pleasantly shaded space. It is a reliable solution that works just as well during a rainy night as it does on a hot day in an open area.

Durability without unnecessary weight

The tarp's construction uses a special Ripstop weave, which significantly reinforces the polyester structure. This ensures very high resistance to tears and mechanical damage in demanding forest or mountain environments. Despite its large format, the Supertarp® weighs only 850 g. Its compact design means it takes up very little space when folded and easily fits into the included transport bag. Even a wet tarp can be safely packed into a backpack without the risk of wetting the rest of your gear.
